This year I am organizing a Galentine’s Day party with about 10 girlfriends. Our latest WhatsApp discussion has been – What do we do for Galentine’s day?

How Do You Throw the Best Galentines Party?

So many options out there for Galentine’s Day, this is what I am doing this year!

1. Make it a Movie Night

There are a lot of ‘girl power’ movies out there for Galentine’s Day. This year I am going with ‘How to Be Single‘, with Rebel Wilson because we all agree that she is just awesome.  Although The First Wives Club runs a close 2nd. Maybe we will watch both! Here are some other great picks for Galentine’s Day.

Since we are doing a movie night, our dress code/theme will be the perfect pajamas. I am planning on getting this one-piece Galentine’s Day Pajamas.

3. Make it a Potluck

What better to share a movie night with your favorite foods and your girls. Have everyone bring some finger foods to share together during the movie. Some 10 great finger food ideas to share with the girls:

Grab some awesome Galentine’s Day Wine Labels and send them out with Galentine’s Day invitations in the snail mail to make your Galentine’s Day Party even more memorable. Instruct everyone in the invitation to put their wine label on their bottle.

6. Invest in Themed Decor

Spruce up your space with some fun and cheap Galentine’s Day Decor.

7. Hand Out Galantine’s

Send each of your gals off with a note about why you love ’em so much (the cornier, the better). That’s what this day is all about, remember?

8. Assign Everyone a Secret Cupid

Instead of Secret Santa, do a Secret Cupid. Draw random names to become someone’s Secret Cupid. The Secret Cupid is given a wish list of gift ideas to choose from to give to their chosen giftee. After opening their present, the giftee has to guess which member of the group was their Secret Cupid.

9. Play a Game

So many games, so little time. This year we will play the NSFW expansion of Unstable Unicorns + the original deck of Unstable Unicorns.  There are actually a lot of Galentine’s Day games and Best Friends games available.

10. 10. Eat Heart-Shaped Pizza

Since I am hosting this year, my food will be pizza. Everyone else can bring the finger foods.
